You all remember this picture, don’t you?
Well, thanks to our good friends Doreen and Michael, I am also able to show you this picture:
You see, Michael and Doreen happen to arrive at our house the same time our household goods did. Not the best timing in the world, but in the end it all worked out just fine!
A definite plus for us was the enormous amount of help we received from them with directing traffic with the movers, unpacking boxes and ….. Putting together the gas barbecue!!!!!

We had Lucio come and connect the grill. Then it was time for me to face the music. I had never used a barbecue before and I am married to the only American man who does not grill. In addition, I never cooked a whole fish before either.
The Phil and I together managed to light the darn thing and produce a pretty good dinner. The fish tasted great, the potatoes were a little burned, but a glass of wine to care of that!
Thanks Doreen and Michael! We had a great visit with you and will think of you every time we light up the barbie! Next up …… Camerones!
